"A very big thank you from the bottom of my heart"
"I just wanted to say a very big thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help. It was because of serendipity or maybe more so through God’s will from all my praying that I found you. I was not in a good place when we first connected as I’d unwillingly weaned my then 7 month old baby girl at 4 months old. I was heartbroken. I reached out to you to initially help take my daughter through introducing solids via GAPs after she suffered from severe food protein induced colitis from about 6 weeks. At the time, I had a pipe dream of reestablishing breastfeeding as I felt this was the right thing for my girl. You were the first person to not call me crazy - and gave me the courage to try. I clearly remember your words ‘My vision for you is to breastfeed your daughter again’ and then you gave me the tools to do so. It wasn’t easy but here we are now - breastfeeding again for the last 3 months and will continue to do so for as long as possible! I feel so much peace and an enormous amount of gratitude towards you and the support you gave us. Thank you :)"

"Jillaine Williams is the "real deal"
Well, to use a popular euphemism, Jillaine Willaims is the "real deal". She has been, intermittently, supervising cooking with my adult ASD son for around four years now and his confidence and proficiency with GAPS and his recovery increases with each session, so much so that I can now include my son's twin in the sessions without fear of him being dominated (despite being second born, she is, after all "the boss"). Yesterday was a super session, as when the girl was unexpectedly sick, (one of those who would bolt her food down without chewing and was a refluxy baby) Jillaine was on hand to inform her (and she, of course, will NOT listen to her mother)that she needed some acid to break down her food.
What eventuated, and has been repeated at meal times since, is that the girl takes ownership and initiative to add an amount of ACV (apple cider vinegar) to water prior to eating. Voila. Improved digestion, mood, executive functioning etc. And, she now can make her favourite vegetable muffins without stress. Thank you Jillaine.

"You've not only helped my family but also me"
GAPS is a daunting journey on most families but once you’re on it the benefits in health are amazing. I’m not one that has big health issues but knew that my gut needed some major healing. I read Dr. Cambell-McBride’s book and felt very overwhelmed on where to start. By going on the retreat I was able to have the confidence in continuing my journey with GAPS. I’m also educating my community and it’s nice to see many of my friends turning up to meetings with a cup of hot broth. Last night I received a text from a friend saying that her children came home from school smelling she had some chicken broth on the stove. They got really excited and begged her to cook poached eggs in broth for them for breakfast. Now that’s pretty cool.
Thank you Jillaine for opening up your house to provide the first Australian GAPS retreat. Wow what an achievement and one that you should be proud of. Your knowledge on food, nutrition, GAPS, spiritual, self-gratitude and healing is exceptional. You really are a well-rounded unique human being with a big heart that wants to help those who need it most. You’ve not only helpt my family but also me. I look forward in watching where this journey takes you.
