With our very first Tasmanian GAPS (Gut & Psychology Syndrome diet) retreat under our belts so to speak we are now preparing for our second nutrition ‘residential’ commencing August 5th at our Wattle Grove Property. Places are still available and I’d love you to join me. We’ll be sure to pack the beanie and gloves.

The Tasmanian retreats are ironically both an intensive (learning experience) and a much needed escape for clients. A small group of clients is given the opportunity to live-in with hands on nutritional support. They are nourished with a 100% homemade custom menus created to bring about real change in a relatively short space of time. The August retreat will be five days with the option of arriving the day before and staying on an extra night.
Live-in retreats allow healing and recovery for those who are burned out or those who want practical support. You can begin to be nourished and nurtured back to health whilst you learn how to care for yourself and your family going forward. I find that being immersed in the peaceful, picturesque surroundings of Wattle Grove to be an invaluable adjunct on a journey of healing. The retreat fully embraces the holistic principles of natural medicine and the GAPS approach.
I think that the retreats suit people who are just too exhausted to restore their health alone. They are suitable for those wishing to learn more about nutrition however find that their energy levels are holding them back.
On our previous retreat I was delighted to watch a young man’s interest in food and health grow and evolve. He really embraced the opportunity to learn and has taken valuable lessons away with him for the future.
